After several opinion interchanges of founders of AL ZAFAR MEMORIAL EDUCATION TRUST, it was felt that programme implementation of welfare and development, is not only, the duty of Government.
The common people of the state should also, come forward with the helping hand, and ensure their effective support of people. AL ZAFAR MEMORIAL EDUCATION TRUST got registered with GOVERNMENT OF BIHAR, being requisite statutory requirement.
The founders of the NGO have managed to get supports of experts, educationist, techno-savvy and core-hearted NGO and eminent research institutions and Management Consultants.
The NGO feels complete freedom with technical know-how/feasibility, financial feasibility and socio-economic feasibility aspect of project based on sustainable approach.

The AL-ZAFAR MEMORIAL EDUCATION TRUST has been set up by Mr. Md.Jawaherul Hasan with the goal of promoting the cause of real and meaningful education of the educationally backward State of Bihar. All the educational institutions managed by the Al-Zafar Memorial Education Trust have been functioning with remarkable success. Al-Zafar Memorial Education Trust (AZMET) Nawabganj, Kishanganj, Bihar, India, is committed to the cause of promoting technical education among an abysmally poor and educationally backward mass of the society. Kishanganj located at the north-eastern part of Bihar is the last district town of Bihar and has a population of over 12 lakh. The education ratio of the district is lowest in Bihar and technical education is almost nil with no technical or engineering institute.
In view of such a horrifying spectacle of, ‘no technical centre throughout the length and breadth of the district, Al-Zafar Memorial Education Trust took up the all too daunting tasks of imparting technical education to the depressed and neglected populate of the region
The Trust is fully devoted to the noble cause of spread of education in the region. This Trust to achieve its objective initially established an institution named AZMET COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY in 2008 for the promotion of Diploma Engineering & Approval from AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliation from SBTE, Patna (Bihar). It has been a successful institution in creating a platform for deserving students of the state. The institution has a mission of imparting technical education to create a new technical knowledge based professionals who will be capable to face the challenges of the globalization process. The Institute also provides opportunities for a bright career. It gives a vision of the 21st century. The management has taken provide care of the institution in providing job oriented Vocational, Diploma & Degree level courses which are not only relevant for the changing needs of the time with regard to human resources and man power but also prepare students for self employment.
AZMET INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY - AIT, is an important constituent of AL-ZAFAR MEMORIAL EDUCATION TRUST which is one of the best Educational Trust in Bihar. Azmet Institute of Technology, AIT, located in Kishanganj District At-Zafar Nagar, Anarkali, PO-Moudeh, Dist-Kishanganj is one of the best and the latest Minority/self financed Degree Engineering College in Kishanganj. The college was established in the year 2010. The first batch with five branches CE, ME, EE, ECE, CSE was started from the year 2011. It has taken several initiatives in creating an excellent academic atmosphere along with excellent facilities for extra curricular activities that brings out the best in the students.
The infrastructural facilities of the Institution are at par with the best and are designed to meet and exceed all academic and administrative requirements. AZMET INDUSTRIAL TRAINING CENTRE (ITI) was established in the year 2010 by Al-Zafar Memorial Education Trust-ZMET, Kishanganj in Mohammadpur, Patna. Azmet Industrial Training Centre is a premier institution established by the visionary management of the trust, with a mission to create sensitive and responsible generation of entrepreneurs, inventors and technocrats. The institute contains latest equipments & resources and is purpose built for teaching & research.
AZMET Industrial Training Centre is affiliated to the National Council for Vocation Training (NCVT), Govt. of India, New Delhi, through State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training, Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Govt. of Bihar.
The aim of the Institute is to impart technical training approved by NCVT to make the educated unemployed youth suitable for industrial employment in Bihar as well as gainful self employment. The institute has well equipped workshop with all types of machinery, tools, etc. (as per NCVT norms and a full fledged technical library.
AZMET has successfully completed some Government Aided projects like (i) Kasturba Gandhi Balika Awasiya Vidayalaya in Purnia (Amour) and Araria (Bhargama), (ii) Boot Model based Computer Aided Learning Centers, (iii) Haryali, Amour, Purnia (iv) AAIDUDEC (Distance Learning Study Centre), Kishanganj (v) Health Checkup Camps, for Kishanganj District etc.
Some Government Aided projects are successfully running (i) NRC, Katihar (ii) Bal Grih (Girls), Kishanganj (iii) Bal Grih (Boys), Katihar.
Besides Engineering, Diploma, ITI, School, and Vocational Courses we are also working for B.Ed. and Nursing College. The application for recognition of B.Ed. College has already submitted to NCTE, Bhubaneswar.
Mini Tool Room Center under PPP mode for Muzaffarpur is also under process.
Medical College, Seemanchal University and Residential Schools are the proposed projects of Al-Zafar Memorial Education Trust, Kishanganj.
