This college is the 2nd biggest project ever for the trust as the trust had to wait a period of about 8 long years to get approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Recognized and Affiliated by Science & Technology Deptt. Govt. of Bihar, Patna. It was a red letter day for the people of Kishanganj and for the Trust as well. The Trust is again one step ahead in the field of Education that’s why this is the College of IT. Kishanganj is at foot step regarding education. An IT college is a boon for the poors of this District and the students who are really capable for studying in this type of college have to go far away from the District or other states. In this way, the migration of meritorious students becomes a general matter for this District. The people are really thankful for this. Established in a well planned manner this college is situated in the lovely and fair environment of Kishanganj, which is 7 kms away from the District Headquarter and NH-31 and Railway Station and Bus Station straight to Salki, Tengarmari which resides in Kishanganj Constituency and Assembly seat. Location of the Institute

Location of the college is situated very near to Darjeeling, Silliguri (NJP - New Jalpaiguri), Bhutan & Sikkim. The AZMET College of Engineering & Technology is 6 kms far from National Highway 31, approx. 6 kms from Kishanganj Rly. Station or Bus Stand. Nearest Airport is Bagdogra (Silliguri, West Bengal) approx.65 kms. 6 hrs. journey by train from Kolkata, 8 hrs. journey by train from Patna, 3 hrs. journey by Bus/Taxi from Biratnagar (Nepal), 1 hour journey by train from Silliguri (NJP/New Jalpaiguri, West Bengal), 4 hours journey by bus/taxi from Darjeeling, 8 hours journey by bus/taxi from Sikkim/Bhutan.

Eligibility

In order to eligible for admission, a candidate should have 10th passed with science and Mathematics or equivalent from recognised board or council. Obtained at least 35% marks at the qualifying examination.

Candidates appearing at the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for Entrance Test but they have to produce the result at the time of admission. Students will be selected on the basis of merit..

Lateral Entry to 2nd Year

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject.
  OR
  10+2 Science (with Mathematics as one of the Subject) or 10+2 Science with Technical Vocational subject.
  OR
  10th + (2 years ITI) with appropriate Trade in that order shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) of appropriate Programme.
• 12th Science (with Mathematics as one of the Subject) or 12th Science with Vocational (or) 12th Science with Technical or 10th + (2 years ITI) with appropriate specialization in that order shall be eligible for admission to second year Diploma Courses of appropriate Programme.

Fees

Annual Fee Rs. 45,000/- (Yearly)/(First & Second Semester).

Payment should be made in D.D. in favour of Azmet College of Engineering & Technology, payable at Kishanganj.
